Jocelyn Mathewes, owner and principal of Studio Mathewes, fell in love with photography at the early age of 12, when her mother gave her an old Pentax SP1000. She has never stopped photographing since that day, and posts her recent work on her studio blog.

Years later, Jocelyn received a B.A. in Art with an emphasis in Photography. She has been photographing weddings and families for seven years. With her simple, unobtrusive approach, Jocelyn will capture the moments of your day, documenting your event with the utmost care and attention.

A member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Jocelyn combines photodocumentary techniques with traditional wedding photography, blending both formal and informal poses together into a seamless whole. She devotes her entire energy to capturing high-key moments and the essence of your day with the utmost dedication.
