Danceable Wedding: Amanda and Danny

Amanda and Danny got hitched the day before the fourth of July! I remember thinking how much fun it would be to have a pre-parade celebration to attend. Essentially, it would be fireworks before the patriotic fireworks later on!

Amanda got ready with her mother and bridesmaids in her parents’ home–a converted church building in Ellicott City. Don’t you think the architecture is fabulous?

At the church, we gathered the groomsmen together after the bride and bridesmaids had hidden themselves away. These handsome dudes hammed it up for the videographer!

I saw these two stealing glances at each other throughout the ENTIRE ceremony. It was wicked cute. And don’t you just love that triumph in the last photo?

I love these bridal party shots; Kelsey Thompson, my assistant for the day got the close-ups… I was counting off the jumping.

Before the light faded too much outside during dinner, Kelsey and I snagged the happy couple out into the hills so that we could catch some shots of them together by the beautiful landscape at Morningside Inn out in Frederick, Maryland.

These two couldn’t be more in love; after cake, it was like no one else existed! Time to kiss, kiss, kiss!

I am SO GLAD that I stayed for the end of the evening, because a giant game of spin-the-bottle broke out in the most hilarious fashion! Someone would give the bottle a flick, and then whoever got tagged would have to dance outrageously. My favorite? Amanda herself–she had changed into a lighter white dress for the dancing, and totally stole the show!

And don’t forget the video footage, either!

See what I’m sayin’? One of the reasons I totally LOVE my job.
