Sydney and Chip are now the proud parents of little baby Harrison, photographed at just six weeks old. It's so remarkable and wonderful to meet such fresh and new people; a reminder of how precious and delicate humanity is! Something about little toes and that cowlick are just so captivating; they don't stay that small or that helpless for very long.

I love the contrast between the mother-son and father-son portraits. Sydney held Harrison in her arms shortly after feeding, and Chip held him just after waking. What wildly different expressions in his eyes!

After he ate, Harrison easily settled down onto a bed of yarn. He totally didn't want to move AT ALL.

Want to see more waking-versus-sleeping pictures? They're HILARIOUS! At left, we have "Don't you DARE wake me!" Harrison, and at right, we have "Mommy I have a present for you!" Harrison. Oh, you silly little boy!

And now, my FAVORITE shot of the three of them together.

Many blessings to this sweet, new family!
