Melanie + Bogomil: passionate red engagement session
By the time you see this, Melanie and Bogomil will be happily, EVER so happily married.
Yes, MARRIED.
After spending quite some time as ships passing in the night, Bogomil and Melanie finally met, fell in love, and decided not to waste ANY time! They contacted me to photograph their wedding–which, sadly, I was unavilable for–but to my joy jumped at the chance for an engagement session (despite how short the timeline).
And boy, what tenderness and happiness they have together.
Melanie’s lovely triple-ring in three different metals is in a style that symbolizes the trinity of God, evoking the faith that draws them together and anchors them as a couple.
They also brought along an Orthodox icon of the saint who watched over their courtship: St. John Maximovitch. They’ve married on his feast day!
They also share a love of books and literature.
And they basked with me in the beauty of the Arnold Arboretum.
Oh, and Melanie–a Steeler’s fan through and through–couldn’t be photographed without a legendary Terrible Towel.
Bogomil and Melanie, thank you so much for the honor, and I wish you all joy and blessings.
