David + Megan: chilly outside and warm inside at Mountain Top Inn
Although the rehearsal the day before was filled with sunshine, it began to drip a chilly rain as David and Megan’s ceremony drew near. The groomsmen got dressed in between checking the windows outside to see what the weather was doing.
Hey there buddy boy!
Megan and her bridesmaids were a little more distracted with the logistics of wedding dresses; they’re so complicated sometimes, but man, do they look AWESOME.
I had never thought to pin a bracelet to the inside of the dress; so lovely and sentimental.
Before the ceremony, we caught Megan’s dad rehearsing his toast for the reception.
"I'm trying to get through it without crying," Megan's father told me.
And Megan gave David a beautiful first-edition copy of Anna Karénina–a book that they read to each other through their romance together.
A beautiful and much-loved book.
And although the rain was in and out, we still managed to get some wedding party photos done before it drove us inside!
Manly men in the misty mountains, luscious ladies in the light rain!
