Megan + David: tying the knot at Mountain Top Inn

David and Megan weren’t about to let the weather get them down. The day before had been gorgeous, but things weren’t looking so great for an outdoor ceremony–it was quite chilly, and the rain slowly got more and more insistent. The lovely folks at Mountain Top Inn made the foyer into a super cozy fire-lit and intimate space for all the guests.

I like watching the reactions of the wedding party to the ceremony kiss.

And then, these two adventurous people told me they were totally game for going outside in the rain for photos. It got to be so heavy out there that I couldn’t wipe my lens fast enough to keep the rain out, but hey, it’s all a part of the story!

out in the rain

Dude, it was FAH-REEZING out there.

After we all toweled off (and I literally mean that), we got ready for their big entrance and first dance.

Peekaboo!

And just wait ’til you see this…

first dance

When these two started dancing, I went "WHOA."

…YOWZA!

kissing and the hora

How the heck do you sneak a kiss in like that in the middle of the HORA?

You gotta love a wedding reception that just captures the feeling of all the energy and love of everyone around you. Thanks, Megan and David, for having me there to document every moment!
