Mike + Judy: early fall wedding at Woodend Sanctuary
Judy and Mike were breathlessly awaiting their ceremony when a deer bounded by in the middle of the bride’s procession.
This moment is really so bittersweet–the way Judy’s father bows and surrenders, giving over a person to whom he’s given so much. It’s really a terrifying and beautiful thing, isn’t it?
A sweet kiss, and then a long line of guests make their way up the field to the cocktail hour…
…while Mike and Judy have a few moments alone.
Her bridesmaids were fast workers on her long train.
Then it was time for the first dance, and then the DANCING!
Ladies, ASSEMBLE!
As the evening passed, I grabbed their rings–which they had engraved with their wedding date–and set to work.
The sun had set, and all the stars shone across the sky. Congratulations, you two! Thank you for having me.
