Emily + Dino: autumn wedding at St. George Orthodox Church in Norwood
I’ve been waiting all year for this wedding. Two dear friends of mine, whose engagement session I photographed back in May, have given me so much creative freedom and support in so many other ways. Being there for them on their wedding day was thrilling for me.
The day began at Emily’s childhood home…
Emily was bustling around the house while her mother carefully ironed out the wrinkles in her dress.
Kermit the frog kept track of the dress for Emily until it was time to put it on.
Oh, the long line of buttons on her dress, and the gaze her dad gave her when she had her dress on.
I teared up a bit when I saw this letter from Emily’s mother–she wrote several in preparation for Emily’s wedding day…

Emily's mother wrote many sweet letters to her daughter in the month leading up to the wedding day--this was the last of the bunch.
…and you can see the emotion and love Emily’s mother has for her.
All the bridesmaids hover around and help Emily put the final touches.
Meanwhile, at the church, everything was ready…
…and the guests all took their places.
We’ll have to wait for Emily and Dino’s big ceremony later!
